Yann Rebecq loves colours. He likes to create an intimate and poetic universe, such as the Impressionists and Nabis painters (Vuillard and Bonnard) who he admires. His strokes are usually calligraphic. He is inspired by Provence, Paris, Brittany and also “family life” scenes. He also specializes in interior scenes with intimate light.

Yann Rebecq has been exhibiting his works for years in different art galleries in France, in New Caledonia, in USA (New York City, Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbus, Miami, Nashville) and also numerous times in International Art Expositions in Paris, in New York, in Nashville (USA) and in Guangzhou, in Beijing, in Hong Kong and in Shanghai (China). Some paintings are held in public collections in museums in Norway, in Switzerland and in USA. He was invited by the city of Nashville in 2001 to be the Main Artist in the International Art Exhibition of Nashville (USA).

His paintings are also held in many private collections in France, Monaco, the USA, China, South Korea, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Ethiopia, South Africa, Iran, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Brazil, Argentina, San Salvador, Reunion Island, Martinique Island, Tahiti and New Caledonia.

Yann Rebecq’s paintings have a high international value and have been very successful at auctions in China and in the USA.
